Michelle Hennigan is the API Manufacturing Manager at AbbVie Manorhamilton Road, Sligo. In this role Michelle has responsibility for the leadership of the API Operations team to manufacture high potent small molecule APIs from launch to early-stage commercialisation.

Wendy is a quality executive with over 30 years of experience leading global quality systems, laboratories, and quality operations in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Wendy holds a BA degree in Biology from California State University Fullerton, a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a MS in Regulatory Science from the University of Southern California.Wendy is currently the Vice President, Quality Assurance, for AbbVie’s Med Tech Region. She provides leadership, strategy, and direction for the internal medical device manufacturing plants. Wendy is also passionate about her commitment to Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EEDI) and serves as a sponsor on the AbbVie Operation’s EED&I Council. Through a collaborative partnership, the council aims to embed and amplify EEDI initiatives, elevate engagement and drive business results throughout the business function globally within AbbVie.
Michelle is the API Manufacturing Manager at AbbVie Manorhamilton Road, Sligo. In this role Michelle has responsibility for the leadership of the API Operations team to manufacture high potent small molecule APIs from launch to early-stage commercialisation. Michelle joined AbbVie in 2017 and has expanded from individual contributor roles within Technical Operations to a variety of leadership roles in Technical and Operations functions associated with OSD and API. Prior to joining AbbVie, Michelle worked in MSD UK in pre-clinical R&D, and in late stage API Operations in Roche, Ireland. Michelle holds a Doctorate of Chemistry and Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from University of Galway, Ireland. She is also a Chartered Chemist accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
