Meet The Speakers
Dr. Tonya Custis has over 15 years of experience performing applied Artificial Intelligence research and leading AI research teams & projects at Autodesk, Thomson Reuters, eBay, and Honeywell. Tonya earned a Ph.D. in Linguistics, an M.S. in Computer Science, and an M.A. in Linguistics, all from the University of Minnesota. She also has a B.A. in Music from the University of Connecticut.
Cornelia Scheitz is the Senior Director of Programs and Business Excellence of Autodesk, aligning and empowering teams across Autodesk to deliver platform services that help their customers succeed. She first joined the company in 2016 as a product manager. Before her career in the software technology space, Scheitz was a VP of science at Strateos. She earned a PhD in genetics from Cornell University, an MS in human molecular genetics from Imperial College London and an undergraduate degree in biochemistry & cell biology from Jacobs University Bremen, Germany.
Sasha Crotty, Senior Director of AEC Design Data at Autodesk, brings over 18 years of expertise in managing products and cloud services. Her leadership enhances AEC data accessibility, driving better project delivery workflows. With a background in product management and software engineering, Sasha helps shape the evolution of Autodesk’s Revit platform and cloud services. She holds an MBA and dual Bachelor's degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and actively engages in educational initiatives, making a substantial impact in design data management at Autodesk.
