Sarvenaz Myslicki
Sarvenaz Myslicki
VP, Technology

Sarvenaz Myslicki is a Vice President of Technology at American Express, where she leads global web engineering, digital services, and site reliability. She holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science and an Executive MBA. She is a non-profit leader within the Society of Women Engineers, a mentor, and a published author.

Katrina Roberts
Katrina Roberts
Senior Vice President and Unit CIO

Katrina Roberts is Senior Vice President and Unit CIO for Global Commercial Services Technology at American Express. In this role, she is responsible for technology strategy and development in support of our B2B customers across Small Business, Mid and Large Market, and Global Clients. She sits on the Global Commercial Services Executive Team and also is a member of the Technology Leadership Team. Most recently she served as Vice President and Unit CIO, Consumer and Commercial Lending Technology, where she led the team developing technology capabilities to support the growth of Amex’s Consumer and Commercial Lending businesses, working closely with business leads in both Global Consumer Services and Global Commercial Payments.

Katrina joined American Express in 1991 through its graduate program, advancing through a series of increasingly responsible roles, both in the business and in IT.

A mentor to high-potential female talent within American Express, Katrina is executive sponsor of the Women in Technology colleague network at American Express, and leads Inclusion & Diversity for the Technology organization. She has previously sponsored the Girl Code program, which works with school-age girls to encourage their interest in IT education and careers.

Jamal Epps
Jamal Epps
Executive Vice President/CFO of the Global Consumer Services Group

Jamal Epps is the Executive Vice President/CFO of the Global Consumer Services Group. In this role, he supports Doug Buckminster and the Global Consumer Services Group organization and is a member of the Senior Finance Leadership Group.

Prior to joining Amex in 2021, Jamal spent much of his professional career with JP Morgan Chase (JPMC), serving in roles across the banking and planning areas. In his role as CFO, Consumer Banking, he oversaw all aspects of the finance and business management functions, including deposit pricing, investment prioritization, and management of the branch real estate portfolio. As a key advisor to the CEO of Consumer Banking, he regularly interfaced with the business unit leaders around complex strategies focused on optimizing performance across JPMC’s extensive global network of physical branch, ATM and digital channels.

Jamal earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English from Georgetown University and an MBA in Management & Strategy and Marketing from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Jamal is passionate about his Hoyas, and currently serves on the Georgetown University Board of Regents. Jamal lives with his wife and two children in Pelham, NY

Mary Ellen Jelenek

Global Merchant Marketing & Analytics, Global Merchant & Network Services

Mary Ellen has been at American Express for 21 years. She has a proven track record leading global organizations across marketing, product management, product development and partnership management, as well as large organizational transformations. She has spent time in Global Commercial Payments, Enterprise Growth, Prepaid & Alternative Payments and Global Merchant Services.

Currently, as Senior Vice President of Global Merchant Services (GMS) Marketing, Mary Ellen is dedicated to bringing Merchants and Cardmembers together and transforming how American Express is welcomed globally. GMS Marketing is responsible for driving profitable growth, accelerating merchant activation, and enhancing the value Amex acceptance brings to merchants and Card Members at scale. The organization focuses on enhancing the AXP relationship with millions of merchants across the globe including the U.S, Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. This comes to life through programs like AMEX Offers and Shop Small globally.

When not working, she and her husband, Brian are likely taking orders from their two daughters – Juliana (9) and Jocelyn (5).

Brigida Munoz
Brigida Munoz
VP, Connectivity Lead, Enterprise Inclusion Diversity & Business Engagement

Brigida Muñoz serves as Vice President, Connectivity Lead in the Office of Enterprise Inclusion, Diversity & Business Engagement at American Express (AXP). In this role, Brigida is responsible for driving collaboration across AXP, as we drive our commitments to Diversity, Inclusion, Equity forward. She ensures that all program initiatives and enhancements align to the overall program and Company strategy while also creating accountability structures to measure success against key targets.

Prior to this role, Brigida Muñoz worked as VP of the Marketing and Product Team for American Express National Bank. She also held leadership roles in Co-brand Product Management for OPEN, Prepaid Portfolio Management and Consumer Services, where she signed partnership agreements for the Membership Rewards Program, managed lending products and led internal acquisition.

She is a dedicated leader who has championed initiatives with HOLA (the Hispanic employee resource group at AXP) and the Global Risk Compliance and American Express National Bank Inclusion & Diversity Council that elevate diverse talent and foster inclusive leadership practices.

Brígida Muñoz is a native of Los Angeles, California. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and two children. When she’s not working she can be found running/biking around the city, making and viewing art, cooking and eating (in that order) and spending time with her family.
