Meet The Speakers

Kris Caverly
Kris Caverly
Vice President and Head of Corporate Technology

Kris is Vice President & Head of Corporate Technology and a member of the Information Technology Management Committee. In her current role, she is responsible for ongoing strategic alignment and optimization of technology for business success. This includes guiding research efforts, leading the execution of technical capabilities, building the critical infrastructure to support initiatives, and developing technical talent for the firm. She serves on the firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Steering Committee for their Technology organization and contributes as a Women’s Leadership Diversity Champion. Kris is also Board Chair for the Regional Advisory Board for Reading Partners of Baltimore and chairs their board's REDI (racial equity diversity and inclusion) committee.

Kris previously served as the Executive Board Treasurer for the Poly Parent Faculty Association with the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in Baltimore.

Senior Data Scientist

Erin graduated from MIT in 2013 with a bachelor's in Economics. She worked as a data scientist with the fraud modeling team at Freddie Mac in DC for 3 years before completing a Master's in Applied Mathematics at Johns Hopkins. In 2019, she joined T. Rowe Price's data science team, where she has been focusing on Natural Language Processing applications for investment insight.

Lead Software Engineer

Anjana started at T. Rowe Price in 2000 as a consultant and converted to an employee in 2008. She began her career as a full-stack engineer and moved to a Technical Lead role. As an engineer and technical lead, she architected and implemented many applications across multiple business lines and mentored numerous developers.

Last year, Anjana was given an opportunity to take on a managerial role. She now manage two teams and several critical applications.

David Thorpe
David Thorpe
Lead Software Engineer

David is a Lead Software Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the software development field. He has worked on a wide range of projects from embedded systems for small devices, to software for High DOF robots as well as web-scale software for both large private and governmental institutions. David currently is a technical and people leader in the Global Investments Operations Division of T. Rowe Price. Outside of work, he actively engages in activities to bring technological awareness and skill to kids in the US as well as in the Caribbean in the field of Robotics and Computer Programming.
