Vice President
Tracy White works for the CPS Admin, Core Platform Services department from Alpharetta, GA US. She joined Morgan Stanley via the E*TRADE acquisition. She has been working for E*TRADE since 2003. In her current role, she manages the WMT Core Platform Services Systems Engineering Team. She and her team provide Application Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Build and Release services for the Linux E*TRADE platforms. One unexpected fun fact about Tracy - "I have been on a daily running streak for almost 2 years – I have run at least 1 mile every day since April 4, 2020. "
Walter Forero

Head of WMT Policy & Governance

Walter Forero is an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley in Technology, based in Alpharetta, Georgia. His current remit spans multiple Policy & Governance topics including but not limited to Policy creation, modification, representation, reporting, and enforcement. Additionally, he has responsibilities as the site co-lead for the new Morgan Stanley Alpharetta Location. Walter has over 24 years of experience at Morgan Stanley. He spent his first 13 years in Institutional Divisions working in various roles across Production Management and External Client Support.

For the past 11 years, Walter has worked in Wealth Management Technology in Change & Release Management, Policy & Governance, and many Morgan Stanley mergers.

ShinYi is a Portfolio Lead for the Middle Office/T++ team. She works closely with her team of Scrum Masters and Technical Program Managers to ensure successful delivery. She has more than 20 years of professional experience with her last 10 in Portfolio/Program Management and Agile Transformation. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, she was with talech, a wholly-owned subsidiary of US Bank, where she established the Agile Delivery/Program Management discipline and team. She enjoys hiking, good vegetarian food, travelling, and yoga.

Tasha Smith
Tasha Smith
Executive Director, COO Alpharetta Office

Tasha Smith is an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley and has recently relocated from New York to Georgia to become the Chief Operating Officer for Morgan Stanley Alpharetta. She is also part of the firm’s Black Employee Network (BEN) Leadership Steering Committee, co-leading the Representation workstream.

Tasha joined Morgan Stanley in 2010 as a Vice-President for Operations Risk and Regulatory Control delivering renovated accounting for Listed Derivatives, Positions Services, and FX Options. She then moved to Shared Services and Bank Operations supporting OFAC Renovation, before returning to the Operations Risk and Regulatory Control team, where she was named as an Executive Director and became the Chief Administrative Officer in 2017.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Tasha worked at UBS Investment Bank for 8 years as an Information Technology Project Manager and spent 3 years as a Management Consultant working for Pricewaterhouse Coopers & Dimension Data. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Tasha is an avid sports fan, but football is her passion. She is an 8X fantasy football league champion.
