I would like to know how to negotiate a planned week of vacation during a peak season time as part of my salary negotiation. I have travel plans to go to Canada the week between Christmas and New Years. If I am offered the job in the month of October, I am not sure how to ask for the time off as part of the offer negotiation. I am sure others with more seniority have already requested that time off. Should I cancel my trip and not bring it up at all?
