There are laws now in place that require salary ranges to be listed with the job posting; specifically CA and NY. Beyond posting the ranges, do the laws require the ranges to be specific via location? Are there any details that you can share that you are aware of generally as it pertains to this new law. Also, how should you handle a potential employer asking you for your previous salary history during an interview?
