My boss likes to "poke fun" at me, but only in front of my peers. In private it is impossible to get constructive feedback from him and our one on one's are usually him speaking in circles. Lately I respectfully interject, confront him with facts when he manages by fear (e.g. "XYZ is on fire" when nothing is on fire - he is just pushing his own agenda), etc. but I am still treated as if I do not have 12 years experience in my field. I am exhausted from the nano-management. How do I boost my own morale in this current climate while not becoming a doormat to my boss?
