What You'll Do:
- Oversee the design, development, and integration of electro-mechanical actuation systems for premium seating.
- Manage project plans, budgets, and schedules for mid-sized projects, ensuring all aspects stay on track.
- Lead cross-functional teams, coordinating between project management, engineering, and production to meet timelines and quality standards.
- Solve complex technical challenges, adapting to changes and proactively identifying solutions.
- Deliver clear communication through project reports, status updates, and technical presentations, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Ensure all project phases, from concept to certification, are completed within budget and on time.
- Drive cost-saving opportunities and continuously monitor project profitability.
- Provide leadership in establishing design concepts, engineering efforts, and testing for product research and development.
What you will learn:
- Project Management Expertise: You'll develop strong project management skills by overseeing the full lifecycle of projects from planning and initiation through to execution, monitoring, and closure. This includes managing project plans, schedules, and budgets effectively.
- Leadership and Team Management: You'll have the opportunity to lead a team of experienced professionals and team leaders, learning how to motivate and guide them towards achieving project goals. This involves setting priorities, allocating tasks, and ensuring that everyone is aligned with project objectives.
- Technical Proficiency: You'll deepen your technical knowledge in aerospace interiors systems, particularly focusing on development, design, and certification processes. This role provides hands-on experience in managing complex technical manufacturing and engineering tasks.
- Problem Solving and Decision Making: You'll enhance your ability to identify and address complex project problems, recommend solutions, and make decisions that impact project outcomes. This involves critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
Qualifications you Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
Qualifications we Prefer:
- Proficient communication skills; written, in-person, virtual
- Ability to multitask and stay organized while managing several different programs simultaneously
- Proficiency with MS suite of tools including Project and Excel required
- Project management skills, experience leading programs through lifecycle
- Experience with CAD software and Teamcenter preferred
- Experience in aerospace industry dealing with electrical certification (DO-160, DO-178, cybersecurity) preferred

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
