SoftwareOne is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Amazon Connect Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Amazon Connect Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions using Amazon Connect, a cloud-based contact center service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective contact center solutions using Amazon Connect.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve technical issues related to Amazon Connect deployments, providing timely support to ensure system stability and optimal performance.
- Integration: Integrate Amazon Connect with various systems, such as CRM platforms, ticketing systems, workforce management tools, and analytics platforms, to enable seamless data exchange and enhance overall contact center functionality.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive testing of Amazon Connect solutions to ensure proper functionality, usability, and adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in contact center technologies, AWS services, and related tools to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

What you offer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Node.js required.
- Experience in developing and implementing solutions using Amazon Connect preferred.
- Overall AWS development/service experience including Lambda functions, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, Kinesis, Kendra, etc.
- Experience with AWS CLI and AWS SDK, writing Infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation, writing IAM Roles using AWS security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to translate customer business requirements into technical action and work with a development team to implement those requirements.
- Has experience in leading a development team and mentoring junior developers.
- AWS certifications related to Amazon Connect (e.g., AWS Certified Developer - Associate) are a plus.

- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.

Target compensation for this role will be $160K (mix of base salary and bonus) and will be determined based on candidate qualifications, experience, and location.

Qualifications
Requirements:

Fluency in spoken and written English. Other core European languages are highly desirable.

3+ years of successfully supporting customers in a sales, consulting, or relevant industry role
-
Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
-
Strong presentation and negotiation skills as well as outstanding client relationship management experience.
