As a Senior Enterprise OEM Account Executive (m/f/d), you will not simply manage an account — you will lead the transformation of one of the Germany head quartered most influential automotive OEM. You operate where this industry decides success or failure: Virtual Twins, digitalization, and enterprise-wide engineering transformation. You help your customer rethink how vehicles are engineered, validated, and finally delivered.
This position can be performed in a hybrid format from the 3DS office in Germany, Munich.
Role & Responsibilities- Take full strategic ownership of one global automotive OEM and build a multi-year account strategy that shapes how the customer adopts Virtual Twins, Modeling & Simulation, and end-to-end digital engineering
- Develop and execute transformational sales initiatives — from identifying opportunities to orchestrating internal and external stakeholders and driving deals from concept to closing
- Work directly with leaders across Engineering, R&D, IT, Procurement, and C-Level, engaging as a challenger, trusted advisor, and strategic partner
- Translate deep technical challenges into compelling, measurable business cases that address performance, cost, quality, and development-cycle impact
- Drive the convergence of Modeling & Simulation across the customer’s entire development lifecycle, enabling new levels of automation, virtual validation, and cross-domain collaboration.
- Inspire your customer to think bigger and act bolder by challenging established processes and positioning SIMULIA as a catalyst for product development transformation
- Orchestrate internal 3DS resources (Pre-Sales, Industry Process Consultants, Brand Experts, Professional Services, Marketing, Legal, Finance) to expand pipeline, increase deal velocity, and execute strategic programs
- Build high-impact relationships across the customer’s engineering ecosystem and identify opportunities that scale across programs, platforms, and functions
- Represent Dassault Systèmes as the central voice for simulation-driven innovation and digital transformation at the assigned OEM.
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise software sales or complex solution selling, demonstrating a consistent track record of winning large, strategic deals
- Deep understanding of the automotive industry, ideally supported by an extensive network across engineering, R&D, or digital transformation functions
- Authentic passion for technology, disruption, and innovation — combined with the ability to engage confidently in technical discussions.
- Ability to convert complex engineering and organizational problems into clear, quantified business outcomes and impact-focused value propositions.
- An hunter mentality complemented by strategic depth: you can open new business while driving long-term enterprise transformation.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence both technical experts and C-Level leaders.
- Fluent in German and English is mandatory; additional languages (e.g., French) are a plus.
