Join our team as a Sales Executive (m/f) for our BIOVIA Brand in Switzerland with focus on our Central Europe customers!

As a BIOVIA Sales Executive (m/f), you will successfully drive new business and expand sales to existing customers in Central Europe, you will develop and execute the sales strategy and activities associated with sales campaigns. The position can be performed in a hybrid manner from one of our Dassault Systèmes locations in Switzerland, such as in Basel or in Kloten. Willingness to travel to our clients in the D-A-CH region will be required. 
 

Role Responsibilities: 
 
  • Proposing and selling BIOVIA software and solutions to companies conducting research and development of materials and ingredients; developing new business and expand sales to existing customers in Central Europe; planning sales strategies, account plans and sales activities for key customers.
     
  • Coordinating technical pre-sales (tech sales), product development, services, support, management, marking and other resources needed in deal pursuits to expand business; demonstrating value on focused brand discipline and/or industry segment engagements through a bottom-up approach within assigned accounts. 
     
  • Managing existing customer base and maintaining relationship as trusted partner; whilst generating growth in priority areas according to Sales Initiatives defined by Brands/Industries and transform Marketing and Sales leads into opportunities; in addition to managing negotiation with the customer by complying with all internal policies, processes as well as government and local regulations
     
  • Main target customers / industries / sectors: Digital transformation in R&D, materials informatics, and AI-material/formulation design. Companies supplying materials: Chemicals, Materials, Consumer Package Goods (CPG), Food & Beverages.- Companies that use materials with R&D department. 
     
  • Main products and solutions: Scientific software for research and development; Molecular simulation software, data science, AI, informatics software, etc.; IT infrastructure that supports lab digitalization, digital transformation, and lab operations, such as lab solutions and research information management; Solutions and services that combine the above software.
     
  • Building sustainable relationships with Customer’s Champions facilitating access to Customer’s Executive levels; performing end-to-end sales engagements compliant with internal processes to achieve the revenue plan; and providing an accurate forecast for 5 rolling quarters and FY.  
     
Qualifications
  • Bachelors, or equivalent qualifications in life sciences, engineering, computer science, chemistry
     
  • Industry sales experiences: proven direct sales experiences in scientific software, including SaaS or equipment
     
  • Direct experience in consulting sales and ability to coordinate related internal departments such as Technical Sales and Services departments and carry out proposal activities
     
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to demonstrate effective negotiation and presentation skills with fluent in both German and English languages. 
     
  • Proven experience of driving value based complex sales campaigns, managing end to end customer engagements with a track record of meeting and exceeding quota targets 
     
  • Direct experience of Digital Labs, Gigafactories & Battery Industries is advantageous
