The Marketing Audience & Data Management (ADM) function ensures consistency in the use of information, the evaluation of alternative MarTech techniques that are appropriate for prediction and decision making, and the rapid deployment of relevant offers to customers in order to foster sustainable business outcomes.

The Data Management Analyst will join the ADM Audience & Data Management team, with a focus in one of these 4 discreet functions:  Model Implementation, Data Staging, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Credit Bureau Delivery.

ADM is part of Citi's US Personal Banking Marketing & Franchise Development organization and will support the strategic agenda and data driven solutions for prospect Acquisitions & Existing Customer Marketing. Candidate will provide expertise in 1P/2P/3P data management, capabilities and control framework and will also help navigate the ingestion of data sources across our ecosystems. The individual will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors and successfully manage the end to end project life cycle for deliverables that supports a variety of critical requirements including marketing campaigns, strategic planning and other functions across the enterprise.

Role requires interaction with cross-functional, cross-geographic team members within Marketing, or vendor partners and broader USPB organizations. It requiring understanding of Business goals and drivers, and the ability to consult on technical design with non-technical audiences. Additionally, role has direct oversight of day-to-day operations of a critical list processing vendor and strong integration with internal IT teams. The ability to bridge English strategy to technical implementation is critical and to work seamlessly across Business and Technical resources from peers through Senior Management is a must. Role will be hands on within the Proprietary Marketing Platform, coding and testing scenarios as they solidify for eventual in market execution.


Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with cross-functional areas at the Functional Specialty level. 
  • Primary liaison with the Marketing Program Managers, Analytics, and Risk to develop sound Business Requirements and work through the business needs to ensure successful project completion. 
  • Direct Oversight of Vendor teams to support successful data publish, monitoring and maintenance. 
  • Direct working relationship with In Business Control team for monthly Control monitoring and testing
  • Strong Collaboration, acting as an internal consultant with campaign design and requirements
  • Active participation in Strategy meetings and daily Scrums
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years’ experience
  • Complex stakeholder management, understanding needs and KPIs across multiple business stakeholder across USPB, all LOBs and functions
  • 3rd Party Vendor Management and oversight
  • Strong adherence to Citi’s Control & Compliance Framework
  • US Regulatory knowledge for data handling, processing and usage
  • Extremely strong Project Management, PMP preferred
  • Strong analytical mindset and hands-on data analytical experience
  • Proven experience in Process Design and Audit / Control landscape
  • Working knowledge of multi-channel, customer centric marketing techniques leveraging a mix of batch and real time data. 
  • Experience driving sophisticated exploratory data analysis and provides results to Business Partners
  • SAS, SQL
  • Unix, Oracle
  • Cloud platforms, AWS / Snowflake
  • Data visualization tools (Tableau, etc), dashboarding & reporting
  • Strong skills to de-bug data issues, problem solve across multiple 1P, 2P, 3P data providers
  • Strong knowledge of data integrations, encryption standards and transfer mechanisms (APIs, REST/SOAP webservices, etc)
  • Strong working knowledge base in quantitative and analytical techniques including report analysis, association rules, decision trees, timeline and task plan analysis and visualization techniques. 
  • Hands on Work coding within the Citi Marketing Platform, Proprietary system hosted by a 3rd Party Vendor. Full knowledge must be gained of platform environments, data and ecosystem.
  • CDP experience preferred


Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
