Skills and Competencies

• 6-9 years of robust, hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying modern responsive web applications at an enterprise level.
• Solid experience in building and maintaining scalable and reliable SaaS solutions
• Advanced proficiency in Node.js, React, and TypeScript, with extensive full stack development experience and a strong track record of creating complex, reusable UI components, supported by the use of AI enabled tooling to improve productivity, code quality, and system reliability
• Excellent grasp of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies, as well as responsive design concepts
• Solid understanding of the NodeJS/React ecosystems and build toolchain.
• Solid experience in creating and consuming REST APIs, familiarity with OpenAPI specifications
• Experience with relational and non relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including implementing connection pooling strategies and optimizing query (MongoDB) and system performance
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, particularly AWS and familiarity with cloud-native services
• Experience working on GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Shell Scripting
• Knowledge of software development methods and best agile practices
• Experience writing and maintaining a comprehensive suite of unit and integration tests, incorporating AI driven testing tools to enhance test generation, coverage analysis, and overall quality
• Experience applying software design patterns and architectural principles. Experience with layered, microservices, or event-driven architectures
• A passion for engineering, learning, and teamwork is a must
• You have curiosity about technology and business. Always looking for most efficient ways to solve business problems
• Experience in financial domain will be preferred
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence coding assistants, such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot to boost productivity and efficiency

Education

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is required

Responsibilities

• As the Senior software engineer within the Asset Management technology teams, you will collaborate with global colleagues to develop and enhance our leading products in the Structured Finance area. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and implementing solutions that address complex challenges faced by clients in the fixed income finance sector
• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Build scalable backend services and APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) and integrate them seamlessly with frontend applications
• Implement responsive, accessible, and reusable UI components using Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or other modern styling frameworks
• Participate actively in architecture discussions and contribute, taking a lead role in evaluating design choices, recommending suitable technologies
• Engage proactively with cross-functional teams—including project management and quality assurance—to fully understand project requirements, clarify objectives, and deliver high-quality software solutions that align with client needs
• Integrate and manage SQL and NoSQL databases, with hands on experience writing, tuning, and maintaining MongoDB queries, and delivering database upgrade and migration scripts that safeguard data integrity, minimize downtime, and maintain performance
• Write clean, maintainable, and strongly typed code leveraging TypeScript to enhance reliability and developer productivity
• Work on deployment of applications and facilitate software upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to end users
• Provide guidance to junior developers by actively mentoring, sharing best practices, coding standards and knowledge exchange within the team
• Conduct regular, thorough code reviews to offer constructive feedback and uphold high standards of code quality
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and efficiently resolve software defects and technical issues
• Provide ongoing technical support for applications, responding promptly to customer inquiries and ensuring optimal performance of deployed solutions
• Communicate project and task status clearly and regularly to stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment throughout the development process
• Contribute actively to documentation at each stage of the software development lifecycle, ensuring clarity, consistency, and ease of future maintenance
