The Intermediate Process Engineer is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Job Title: Automation QC Analyst (C12)
Department: COO Automation Team - Intake and Automation Readiness Team
Role Overview: The Automation Prioritization Analyst (C12) plays an integral role within the COO Automation Team, supporting the strategic prioritization of automation initiatives. This position is responsible for assisting in the comprehensive process of understanding, evaluating, and preparing automation requests for prioritization discussions across various Global Assessment Units (GAUs). The analyst will work closely with senior prioritization analysts and business stakeholders, gathering critical information, contributing to business case development, and ensuring that business needs are accurately captured and represented in the prioritization process. This client-facing position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a foundational understanding of business operations and automation potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Prioritization Process Support: Assist in the end-to-end prioritization process for automation requests, ensuring all necessary data is collected for effective evaluation.
Stakeholder Communication & Coordination: Coordinate meetings with business stakeholders and GAUs to gather input on automation needs and track follow-up actions related to prioritization.
Data Collection & Analysis: Collect and analyze data relevant to automation requests, including potential impact, effort estimates, and strategic alignment, to support the prioritization framework.
Business Case Documentation: Support the development and refinement of business cases for automation requests, ensuring all relevant information, benefits, and strategic justifications are clearly articulated.
Reporting Assistance: Contribute to the preparation of reports and dashboards on the automation pipeline and prioritization status for various stakeholders.
Requirements Clarification: Work with requestors and SMEs to ensure automation requests are clearly defined, complete, and ready for prioritization discussions.
Process Adherence: Ensure adherence to established intake and prioritization processes and contribute to identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
7+ years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, or a related field, with a focus on requirements gathering, stakeholder interaction, and process support in a technology or operations environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an aptitude for understanding business needs and technical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in data collection, organization, and presentation.
Demonstrable experience with process improvement methodologies.
Experience with JIRA or similar work management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with prioritization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Agile).
Experience with project management or intake tracking tools.
Importance to the Automation Team: The Automation Prioritization Analyst (C12) is vital for the smooth and effective operation of the COO Automation Team's prioritization efforts. By providing essential support in data gathering, stakeholder coordination, and business case documentation, this role ensures that the strategic prioritization process is well-informed and efficient.
