Work you'll do
As a Project Delivery Specialist Mainframe Developer in the GPS HST Technology group you will:
- Gather requirements, analyze existing processes or applications, and design solutions that meet business needs.
- Design, code, test mainframe applications using COBOL language.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for production systems, troubleshooting issues, and applying fixes or enhancements as needed.
- Create, modify, and optimize queries using DB2.
- Develop and support batch processing jobs using JCL.
- Work closely with business analysts, testers, quality assurance (QA) teams, and other developers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Prepare and update technical documentation, process flows, and code comments.
- Familiarity with Eclipse based tools, GitHub for SDLC is a plus

Required:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
- CICS: Advanced
- IBM DB2 Connect: Advanced
- Job Control Language (JCL): Advanced
- Mainframe/Cobol Rules Mining: Advanced
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Advanced
- GitHub: Advanced
- JIRA: Advanced
