Skills and Competencies
3+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a track record of contributing to impactful technical projects.
Proficiency in Java and/or C#/.Net programming languages.
Experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server), and familiarity with columnar data storage and NoSQL data stores.
Experience developing production-grade RESTful APIs and microservices.
Familiarity with cloud-native applications using Docker & Kubernetes.
Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
Solid grasp of software design principles and ability to write well-tested, high-quality code.
Knowledge of multi-threading and memory management.
Ability to design and implement solutions considering scalability, availability, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Adaptability in navigating organizational and technical change.
Understanding of testing strategies and approaches for maintaining system health.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline—or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
Develop, deliver, and maintain backend services and public APIs.
Implement product features following all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with team members to design and build scalable solutions.
Work within a team to prioritize customer-centric outcomes.
Apply sound technical judgment when implementing features.
Demonstrate collaboration, innovation, and alignment with company values.
Participate in change initiatives and adapt to evolving requirements.
Contribute to solutions that balance short-term needs with long-term goals.
Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and documentation to ensure design quality and alignment with project objectives.
Partner with product teams to understand requirements and deliver value to customers.
Identify and address technical challenges, escalating risks when necessary.
