We are on the look out for a Senior Manager, Business Development & Strategic Projects to join the Global Vendor Vertical. You will be working directly with the VP of Strategic Vendor Programs on the most important projects in the Global Vendor Vertical. The Global Vendor Vertical develops products and services for more than 1 million restaurants across 70+ markets that we operate in.
Your role will require strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. As you will work across teams, it is crucial that you can quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and develop strong relationships. Lead a portfolio of cross-functional strategic projects to grow our business and improve the performance of our products and services, across a diverse range of topics
Stay on top of industry trends and the competitive landscape across relevant products and services, and assess them to derive meaningful opportunities for our business
Develop new strategies based on the identified opportunities and pro-actively adjust existing strategies if its premises change
Take ownership of new growth and performance improvement initiatives that strengthen our customer and restaurant relationships
Advise senior management on strategic topics and facilitate decision-making through data-driven analyses
Interact pro-actively with senior stakeholders within Delivery Hero as well as our brands and provide regular updates on the progress of your projects
Qualifications
You gained at least 7 years of professional experience in strategy / business development in a fast paced environment, preferably in management consulting, or in a start up / scale up
You excel at logical reasoning and have strong analytical skills
You are naturally curious and eager to roll up your sleeves and dive into the details
You are a strategic thinker, who looks outside the box to find creative solutions for tough challenges
You are comfortable with structuring ambiguous information from different realms of our business
You are an entrepreneur at heart, prioritizing relentlessly to deliver value fast rather than aiming for perfection
You build a high-performing team by always raising the standards for yourself and others
You are communicative, energetic and empathetic and create a positive environment in which others can thrive
You excel at stakeholder management and are able to lead cross-functional teams in an international, multicultural environment
You have excellent written and spoken English skills
