Our customer-first mindset focuses on developing products that encourage loyalty and repeat business from our travelers and partners. We partner closely with teams across Expedia Group to achieve growth and results for our customers and company.

Expedia Group is seeking a high-performing Product Manager III to lead our Maps product and platform, a critical experience that helps travelers answer essential questions about their trip. This role is pivotal in shaping innovative travel products that align with strategic business objectives and satisfy customer needs across our three flagship brands: Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo.

You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams—including engineering, design, analytics, and partner product teams—to ensure our Maps experiences are intuitive, scalable, and at the forefront of the travel industry. Your leadership will drive the integration of advanced AI/ML technologies, rigorous market analysis, and data-driven product direction to maintain Expedia’s competitive edge.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Maps across multiple Expedia Group brands and platforms, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, analytics, and program management teams to deliver impactful features and enhancements.

  • Drive prioritization across multiple backlogs (web, iOS, Android, backend), integrating data-driven insights and customer feedback to inform decisions and measure product outcomes.

  • Integrate and scale AI/ML capabilities to enhance traveler experiences, personalization, and operational efficiency, ensuring safe and effective adoption of AI/ML‑enabled solutions.

  • Ensure technical excellence, scalability, and maintainability across front-end and platform components, including system design, API integration, and data modeling as applied to product features.

  • Partner with stakeholders across product verticals, including Trips and related domains, to deliver cohesive cross-functional initiatives and drive adoption.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years with a Masters, or equivalent related professional experience.

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in product management within complex, multi-platform environments.

  • Background in Maps-related products, travel technology, or experience working with geospatial data and APIs (e.g., Google Maps SDKs).

  • Demonstrated experience managing product ownership across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and backend platforms.

  • Strong technical acumen with an understanding of system design, API design, and data modeling as they relate to product management.

  • Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating and scaling products at an enterprise or multi-brand level, demonstrating architectural leadership within product scope.

  • Proven track record of integrating and managing AI/ML‑enabled solutions that improve customer or business outcomes.

  • Demonstrated experience taking products from concept to scaled adoption.

  • Ability to leverage data-driven decision making and insights to optimize product strategy and deliver operational excellence.
