Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. We offer comprehensive end-to-end support and advisory services, covering areas such as valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. The team works closely with clients at every stage of their journey, helping them navigate challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and implement practical solutions before, during, and after major transformational projects or transactions creating lasting impact.
Deloitte's Real Estate Consulting practice is passionate about real estate. Our practice's goal is help clients make better real estate decisions throughout the lifecycle of their real estate. The open position is within our Lease Advisory Services team which is a subset of this practice focused on addressing client issues involving leased real estate.
Work you'll do
Commercial real estate management is dynamic. It requires an organization's realty department and lease administration teams to be adaptive toward ever-changing market conditions, reporting requirements, and system changes. You'll have the opportunity to work on projects to help advise clients to address these issues. You'll help our clients by performing services designed to allow them to more confidently make decisions and execute those decisions to drive performance. This work can take place directly at the client site or may be before performed remotely from a home office. Your responsibilities could include:
The team
Our Valuation & Modeling team provides financial modeling for business planning, transactions, and operational improvements. We conduct valuation for tax purposes, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), litigation, bankruptcy, and risk management. Additionally, we support audit processes with fair value measurements.

- Conducting thorough lease audits to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Extracting and summarizing critical information from lease and real estate documents
- Performing lease administration consulting and outsourced services
- Conducting due diligence for acquisitions and investment transactions
- Creating financial cash flow models using tools like Argus and Argus Enterprise
- Performing lease data quality and integrity assessments
- Performing strategic lease positioning assessments, including net effective rent calculations, lease language reviews, and market research
- Leading projects and communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
- Addressing complex issues with innovative solutions while efficiently prioritizing tasks, managing multiple assignments, and navigating ambiguous situations
- Training, mentoring, and overseeing less experienced professionals and staff
The team

Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate, advisory, and/or applicable consulting involving complex commercial real estate leases and operations
- Familiarity with lease administration systems and/or IWMS systems such as CoStar, IBM Tririga, Lucernex, Manhattan One, and/or Prolease
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities
- Proven experience in providing services involving accounting and business consulting projects, including participation in client presentations
- Willingness and ability to travel as required for client service engagements
Preferred
- Experience performing lease audits and/or internal audits involving leased real estate
- Exposure to and/or experience with Argus DCF and/or Argus Enterprise
- Property accounting and/or management experience
- Experience performing technology-enabled real estate lease abstraction
- Desire to develop corporate real estate knowledge and experience
- Professional accreditations and certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and/or Certified Property Manager (CPM)
