Design manufacturing fixtures and develop their respective documentation for the assembly process of electromechanical medical devices. This position must coordinate with other designers, engineers, technicians and suppliers to complete the implementation of the fixtures. Use drawing skills to do solid modeling and develop detailed engineering plans. This position must build and test the testing and process assembly fixtures, for both prototypes and manufacturing equipment. This is a position where the collaborator is detail-oriented, carries out effective work planning where he/she must involve other functional areas. These tasks apply to both Electromechanical Device Assembly (EMDs) business units.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and draw parts in Creo, independently and with direction from mechanical engineers. • Process the purchase of components and parts required for the assembly of the designs. • Develop and complete packages of drawings, plans and engineering documentation for the fixtures developed. • Develop and write the work instructions necessary to create, assemble and use the devices or fixtures developed. • Design/modify product labels, using UDI and its configuration. • Originate and submit the CR's, CRP's, ECO's and MCO's of the futures and designs made. • Prototype the fixtures, assemble them, plan and complete the tests for successful implementation. • Carry out investigations to support the process of CAPA's, NCMR's, or non-conformities in the manufacturing line. • Conduct research and interviews with users and operators on manufacturing lines to improve fixtures. • Ensure compliance with corporate and legal EHS requirements, through compliance with internal policy and procedures. Likewise, guarantee compliance through the adoption of strategies, internal controls, communication and necessary training
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION
Engineering Bachelor degree, Electomechanical, electronic, mechanical or similar.
SKILLS • English language, level B2+. • Critical thinking • Creative and Innovative. • Problem solving
EXPERIENCE • Experience of at least one year in engineering or projects in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
