Middle Office Trade Processing is processing Capital Markets transactions –placing orders, confirming and settling trades, processing Voluntary Corporate Actions. The scope of instruments we cover include Equities, Bonds, FXs, Money Markets, Derivatives. We cooperate with Brokers, Custodian Banks and Transfer Agents from all over the world on global markets (North & Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia).
Middle Office Intermediate Analyst is a position responsible for providing operational support to Traders with securities, cash and derivatives transactions. It includes trade monitoring and reporting, market matching and transaction settlement and requires understanding of business context. This position is based on multiple parties communication (via phone, email or personally) in order to investigate incoming queries and to monitor trade execution.
Responsibilities:
- Provide an operational expertise to Institutional Clients with securities, cash and derivatives transactions
- Cooperate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders like: Brokers, Custodians, Accounting Teams etc.
- Perform control functions such as daily trade monitoring, reconciliations across systems and failed trades management
- Assist Team Manager/Supervisor in all their duties as required
- Coordinate complex Client’s queries to ensure timely resolution
- Identify potential operational risk and ensure process is compliant with regulations to minimize processing risk. Propose and implement new KRIs/controls to address/mitigate risk at team level.
- Lead projects/implementations of new Products, New business and client onboarding on section/department level
- Identify and perform analysis of potential process inefficiencies and make recommendations to senior management to support process improvement
- Ensure team procedures and audit requirements are updated, completed and maintained across processes
- Coordinate audit and due diligence events (collect samples, lead process walkthrough sessions)
- Design and analyze complex reports to support/control activities and prepare recommendations
- Serve as point of contact to business analysts, Technology teams and project managers with relation to ongoing enhancement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Professional English,
- 4-5 years of experience in financial sector (middle office, trade or cash processing, corporate action - preferably),
- Good working knowledge of MS Office,
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, attention to details,
- Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills,
- Ability to work independently and in teams,
- Proactive ‘can-do’ attitude, goal oriented, not being afraid to speak up,
- Project/change management and experience with E2E process transformation would be beneficial,
- University degree in finance/ banking would be beneficial,
- Knowledge and experience with Aladdin platform would be beneficial,
- Any financial/project management certifications such as CISI, IOB or equivalent would be beneficial.

The role is open in team which operates within US shift(16:00-24:00 or 15:00-23:00 Warsaw time) only and provides service to US Customer.
