Strategy Manager Role SummaryContributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategy, supporting the planning and execution of strategic projects in partnership with cross-functional teams. Operates largely independently, taking ownership for defined workstreams and deliverables.
Key ResponsibilitiesArticulate business issues impacting the team and help develop the rationale for addressing them (e.g., impact on customer satisfaction scores or team revenues).
Assist in the identification and analysis (e.g., cost/benefit, risk) of potential solutions to address business needs.
Help determine recommended solutions, documenting the business case for change and sharing with team leadership.
Build stakeholder trust by effectively addressing concerns to further long-term interests.
Help customers explore and understand their wider business challenges.
Begin to use understanding of current business processes, objectives, and challenges to suggest solutions and improvements.
Identify methods for collecting data, perform data analyses, and clearly articulate findings.
Develop simple models to understand the potential impact of decisions under various scenarios.
Develop an in-depth understanding of the industry, including key players and their success strategies.
Build awareness of industry issues, including trends, challenges, and emerging concepts.
Develop a broad understanding of industry products/services and their applications, including pros, cons, and implications of different options.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of how the organization does business (business model and operations, financial performance, and key success factors).
Apply a deep understanding of policies, practices, trends, and information that impact the organization and its customers to anticipate and plan for each step of a project.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the financial impact of decisions and solutions, and how this role contributes to positive outcomes.
Adept problem solver who supports a test-and-learn and data-driven decision-making culture.
Influences peers and drives alignment across cross-functional teams.
Able to articulate business problems in a clear, data-driven way, creating linkages to the broader business context.
Makes sound business decisions by combining multiple factors to arrive at the best outcome for a given situation.

Able to develop expertise and insights on specific topics and share them with peers and leaders.
Experience
5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, OR
3+ years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
