Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking a Manager – Finance Transformation who would be responsible for managing and developing a team of Business Analysts and Finance Testing professionals supporting global finance transformation initiatives. This role ensures high-quality requirements, process design, and testing outcomes across finance domains such as Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), tax, treasury and FP&A.
The role requires strong people management experience, excellent finance functional knowledge, hands-on transformation experience, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment.
This role follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation of once a week working from the Autodesk Bengaluru office, supporting collaboration, learning, special team events and Autodesk’s office culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a Bangalore based team of Business Analysts and Finance Testing professionals; set clear goals, performance expectations, and development plans.
- Manage the design and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functional testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements and maintain SOX compliance.
- Guide analysts in documenting "as-is" and "to-be" processes across finance towers like Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), tax, treasury and FP&A.
- Ensure finance solutions meet business requirements, accounting standards, internal controls, and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX).
- Drive standardization and best practices across business analysis and finance testing methodologies and artifacts.
- Partner with Finance Transformation leaders and program managers to plan work, manage capacity, and prioritize resources across multiple initiatives.
- Be familiar and drive program lifecycle methodologies under Agile and Waterfall approaches to guide and support the team during program implementations
- Collaborate with Finance teams, including CAO, COO Finance (Sales Finance) and Corporate and Product FP&A, tax and treasury teams, and IT stakeholders to deliver end-to-end finance transformation outcomes.
- Identify, manage, and escalate risks, dependencies, and quality issues with clear mitigation plans.
- Support change management activities including training, documentation, and user adoption.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and inclusion within the team.
- Design onboarding programs that integrate new hires into transformation projects quickly and effectively
- Promote continuous learning through training, certifications, and mentorship programs
Minimum Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in Finance Transformation, Product management, Business Analysis and Testing.
At least 3 years of people management experience leading teams of Finance Business analysts and/or finance testing professionals or similar roles.
- Deep understanding of finance processes and systems
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery models in transformation programs.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a matrixed, global organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Similar experience in a global technology, SaaS, or subscription-based business.
- Experience with ERP and finance platforms such as SAP, BlackLine, Concur, Ariba, Fieldglass and project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello etc.
- Consulting or large-scale transformation experience.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Lean product development principles, including flow optimization, simplification, and context management
