Skills and Competencies
- At least four years of compliance and/or audit experience, ideally within financial institutions or a capital markets environment
- Highly organized and efficient with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, proactive, flexible, diligent and dependable approach
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision while contributing effectively to a team environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English with multilingual skills considered a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required
Responsibilities
- Perform continuous testing and examinations of ratings processes for compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of periodic and ad hoc compliance reports outlining the results of Compliance’s Surveillance program
- Work with the Compliance Surveillance Team to enhance the Surveillance Program and improve existing surveillance activities
- Develop creative solutions to address testing needs and present information in a concise and comprehensible manner
About the Team
This role is part of Moody’s Compliance Surveillance function, responsible for monitoring, testing, and strengthening adherence to internal policies across ratings processes to ensure integrity and transparency in the capital markets. The team collaborates closely with cross-functional partners and supports responsible adoption of AI-enabled tools to improve oversight and efficiency in compliance operations
