We’re seeking an IT Project Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at delivering results. In this role, you’ll guide multiple concurrent initiatives across applications, infrastructure, desktop, and cloud services - ensuring each project is executed with precision, aligned to business goals, and grounded in best practices across agile and waterfall methodologies.
This role is hybrid (2-3 days per week on-site) and based in our Niles, IL location.
Responsibilities:- Lead Agile teams as Scrum Master within ARTs, managing projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence through Agile ceremonies, artifacts, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with PMO standards and governance within the Agile framework.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear status updates, managing expectations, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment of project outcomes with strategic objectives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; resolve issues promptly to maintain momentum and the project schedule.
- Leverage standard project documentation, suggest and contribute to project management process improvement initiatives. And lead post-project evaluation activities to identify key learnings and areas for future improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Agile Certification (SAFe Agilist or SAFe Scrum Master) preferred.
- Project Management certification (PMP) highly preferred.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities and innovative thinking.
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing IT projects across diverse domains (applications, infrastructure, enterprise solutions).
- Expertise in comprehensive project planning, including defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a global environment.
- Experience managing agile, hybrid, and traditional waterfall projects.
- Strong financial and vendor management skills.
- Skilled in developing detailed schedules, identifying dependencies, and integrating risk management strategies to ensure successful execution and timely delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to apply change management principles and practices to assess organizational readiness, develop communication and training plans, and engage stakeholders to minimize resistance and maximize project outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and experience in SAFe environments.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planview, Jira)

PAY TRANSPARENCY
Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the opportunity. The base salary for this position ranges from $115,300 to $196,100 with a mid-point target. This position may also be eligible for our incentive pay program, which varies based on individual and Company performance in the year. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.
