We are now looking for an In-Field Brand Manager (Gastroenterology) to drive the implementation of brand strategies and patient-centric initiatives in Finland.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and facilitating the tactical development and execution of commercial activities linked to the brand strategy for our gastroenterology portfolio. You will work closely with the Business Unit Manager and Brand Team, managing brand projects, engaging critical stakeholders, and playing a key role in the achievement of sales targets. Your role also includes acting as the primary executor of the brand in the field, serving as the main contact for University Hospitals, Central Hospitals, private care providers, and pharmacy environments. You will report to the Business Unit Manager and be located in Finland.
As In-Field Brand Manager, you will:
- Lead and execute in-field brand activities in line with strategic and tactical brand plans
- Build Strategic Brand Plans together with the Brand Team, incorporating insights from the Patient Journey to ensure patient-centricity
- Drive implementation of the Brand Story into local communication and ensure all in-field deliverables align with brand messaging
- Develop and maintain strong relationships as a strategic partner with key accounts, focusing on uncovering and addressing unmet clinical needs and market gaps
- Lead and implement field marketing activities, engagement plans, segmentation strategies, and advocacy development
- Monitor and track KPIs for Brand Team initiatives and provide input to long-range planning
- Enhance performance of the AbbVie IBD portfolio, with focus on Skyrizi, through deep product and disease knowledge
- Collect and share market intelligence and customer insights to inform continuous strategy improvements
- Identify and collaborate with non-traditional partners to help meet strategic objectives
- Adhere to all company policies, codes of conduct, ethics, compliance, and relevant legislation
- Complete all administrative tasks on time and accurately
- Preferably a university degree within marketing, medicine, natural sciences or similar
- Minimum 2-3 years of sales or product management experience within the pharmaceutical industry
- Deep understanding of the healthcare environment and relevant therapeutic areas
- Knowledge of financial processes, customer characteristics, and the market landscape
- Fluent in written and spoken Finnish and strong command of English
- Good IT knowledge and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and cross-functional teams
- Strong stakeholder management and business acumen
