You will drive innovation in social-first storytelling, maintain a sharp perspective on emerging platform and editing trends, ensure all content meets platform-specific requirements and regulatory guidelines. While this position carries no direct reports, you will exercise significant creative influence, champion excellence, and forge alignment across teams to shape the final look, feel, and impact of all influencer video content.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the portfolio lead for influencer video editing across the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio, providing expert direction and hands-on execution for all influencer video content.
  • Edit and optimize influencer video content for organic and paid usage across all major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Ensure all video edits align with brand guidelines, platform best practices, and performance objectives
  • Stay deeply attuned to social and cultural trends, emerging formats, and new editing styles; proactively champion creative standards, advocate for innovative video solutions, and represent influencer content priorities in portfolio-wide planning and cross-functional forums.
  • Apply a strong understanding of paid vs. organic video requirements, including safe zones, aspect ratios, captions, hooks, pacing, and platform-specific rules
  • Partner closely with Influencer Marketing, Social, Paid Media, and MLRC (Medical, Legal, Regulatory and Compliance) teams to ensure edits are compliant and ready for multi-channel deployment
  • Manage and execute video revisions efficiently based on internal, legal, and influencer feedback
  • Establish and maintain best practices for influencer video editing, including templates, workflows, and creative guidelines
  • Support rapid turnarounds for timely moments, launches, and tentpole campaigns
  • Ensure final assets are optimized for performance, clarity, and engagement while maintaining a premium aesthetic consistent with the portfolio
  • Maintain organization of video assets and versions to support reuse and amplification across channels
  • Stay current on platform updates, ad policies, and compliance requirements related to video editing and paid media usage

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in film, media, marketing, communications, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in video editing, social-first content, or digital media, preferably within influencer, brand, or agency environments
  • Expert-level proficiency in in-platform video editing (e.g., smartphone) and professional editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar)
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and performance-driven video editing for both organic and paid media
  • Strong familiarity with platform rules, ad specifications, and compliance considerations across social channels
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and brands simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly collaborative, with experience partnering across cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
  • Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and ability to balance speed with quality
