Skills & Competencies
- 6–9 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis, ideally with exposure to technology or digital transformation projects
- Advanced financial modeling and scenario planning skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and ability to interpret financial impacts of tech investments
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office 365; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage large data sets with accuracy
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
Education
- Bachelors or Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
Responsibilities
This Finance Business Partner will work closely with the Finance Business Partner Lead to support strategic business partnering across the organization, with a strong focus on cybersecurity functions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can operate independently, proactively manage follow-ups, and take ownership of financial modeling, scenario analysis, and recommendations based on evolving business needs. This role requires someone who can anticipate requirements, deliver insights quickly, and act as a trusted advisor.
- Partner with technology leadership and cross-functional teams to align financial planning with tech strategy and investment priorities
- Perform ad hoc financial modeling, scenario analysis, and support strategic initiatives and decision-making
- Deliver actionable recommendations on cost optimization, ROI, and resource allocation for technology projects
- Collaborate with central FP&A teams and support forecasting, budgeting, and provide context around variances for tech-related spend and enterprise initiatives
- Support long-term planning, including multi-year strategic plans, and provide insights on emerging technology trends impacting financial performance
- Identify opportunities for process automation and reporting enhancements leveraging digital tools

You will join a high-performing Finance Planning & Analysis team that partners across Moody’s business units and technology functions. The team is responsible for delivering insights that shape strategic decisions, driving efficiency, and enabling innovation. We work collaboratively across global regions, leveraging data and analytics to support growth and transformation initiatives. This role will report directly to the Finance Business Partner Lead and work closely with senior technology leaders to ensure financial strategies align with organizational priorities.
