Associate Recruiter – Product & Technology (12-month FTC)

Introduction to the team

Our Corporate Functions teams support Expedia Group across Employee Communications, Finance, Legal, People Team, Inclusion & Diversity, and Global Social Impact & Sustainability. As part of the Global Talent Acquisition / Global Talent Enablement community, you’ll partner closely with Product & Technology leaders to attract, engage, and hire the technical talent that powers our global travel platforms.

We are seeking an Associate Recruiter to focus on our Product and Technology divisions, for a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in London. Our Associate Recruiters lead end-to-end recruiting, act as talent advisors to hiring managers and leaders, and work to deliver excellent candidate and hiring manager experience, while operating in an often fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will operate in a dynamic, matrixed, global organization and collaborate closely with sourcing partners, HR Business partners, Talent Attraction and the wider Global Talent Enablement organization.

What you’ll do:

  • Own full‑cycle technical recruitment for a portfolio of Product & Technology roles, from intake through offer and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers and leaders (from first‑line managers to Vice Presidents) to run effective intake meetings, define success profiles, and design structured interview processes.
  • Source and assess technical talent, leveraging direct sourcing, talent communities, referrals, and market mapping to build strong pipelines for critical and hard‑to‑fill roles.
  • Use data, market insights, and talent intelligence to advise on hiring decisions, compensation, and location strategies, and to influence broader workforce planning.
  • Manage multiple requisitions at varying levels of seniority and complexity, ensuring consistent prioritization, stakeholder communication, and timely progression of candidates.
  • Drive a high‑quality candidate experience, maintaining regular communication, “keep warm” strategies, and clear expectations throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Attraction, and sourcing partners to align on inclusive hiring strategies and talent branding for Product & Technology roles.
  • Leverage ATS and recruiting technologies (e.g. Workday, Beamery, HireVue) and AI‑enabled tools to manage pipelines, improve efficiency, and enhance decision‑making.
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes, using KPIs and candidate/manager feedback to streamline workflows and elevate service quality.
  • Ensure alignment with legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements across all recruitment activities.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Significant in‑house technical recruiting experience (typically 3+ years) within a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, ideally supporting Product & Technology organizations.
  • Proven track record hiring across technical job families such as Software Development, Data Science, Architecture, UX/UI, and Security Engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage full‑cycle recruitment, assess/interview candidates, and negotiate offers while balancing multiple requisitions and stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders from manager to VP level, influencing decisions through insights and market data.
  • Proficiency with ATS and recruiting tools (preferably Workday) and comfort working with CRM / talent engagement platforms.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance and maintain strong candidate and hiring manager relationships.
  • Experience using data and KPIs to track funnel health, measure effectiveness, and inform continuous improvement of recruiting strategies.
  • Solid understanding of recruiting principles, organizational processes, and legal/regulatory aspects of talent acquisition.
  • Creative, resilient, and solutions‑oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in fast‑moving, matrixed environments.
  • Familiarity with AI‑driven systems, tools, or workflows applied to recruiting and candidate selection is a plus.

Please note that this role is only available in the following location: London, in alignment with our flexible work model which requires employees to be in-office at least three days a week. We are unable to offer relocation assistance for this role.
