The Marketing Manager II for VENCLEXTA leads the design, development, and execution of integrated omni-channel commercial strategies to maximize brand performance. With a focus on the Health Care Provider (HCP) audience, this role partners cross-functionally across AbbVie’s commercial organization to deliver cohesive, indication-specific customer journeys.

The Marketing Manager drives best-in-class, multi-modal engagement by strategically leveraging digital and emerging channels to meet evolving stakeholder needs. Through strong cross-functional partnerships and agency collaboration, this role ensures seamless campaign execution and a consistent brand experience across platforms. While the role does not have direct reports, it requires influential leadership, strategic prioritization, and the ability to align integrated teams toward shared objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Co-develop annual brand strategy with an integrated omni-channel approach
  • Design and execute coordinated marketing tactics that unify digital and non-personal touchpoints to deliver a seamless HCP experience
  • Partner with Sales, Medical, Market Access, and cross-functional stakeholders to execute highly integrated launch and promotional initiatives
  • Lead project management across timelines, budgets, and agency resources to ensure efficient campaign delivery
  • Leverage analytics and marketing mix insights to evaluate performance and optimize channel effectiveness and ROI
  • Develop engagement strategies across web, email, virtual events, social and digital media
  • Equip the field force with aligned materials and communications that enhance customer engagement
  • Conduct field visits and incorporate insights into customer journey refinement
  • Drive agency and partner collaboration to ensure strategic alignment and flawless execution
  • Synthesize market research and performance analytics to inform ongoing strategy and innovation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pharmaceutical marketing/omni-channel campaign experience

• Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing integrated marketing across digital and traditional channels, with focus on HCP engagement

• Strong independent drive and strategic problem-solving skills

• 3-5 years leading independent, cross-functional, or omni-channel projects

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in marketing analytics, ROI measurement, and budget management for omni-channel initiatives

• Bachelor’s Degree required

• Collaborative, communicative, and team-oriented

• Analytical acumen and business insight for optimizing omni-channel investments

• Proven ability to lead through influence within a matrixed environment

• Strong partner management and stakeholder engagement skills

• Comfortable working at a fast pace and adapting in a dynamic, matrixed organization

 

Preferred:

• Previous experience in Hematology-Oncology

• Experience launching and promoting brands in an omni-channel context

• Pharmaceutical sales or cross-channel field experience

• Experience with joint venture/partnership marketing

• Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills

• Track record managing multiple agencies and collaborating on multi-channel strategies
