Role Overview
The Manager HR Operations Shared Services is a critical leadership role responsible for delivering a high performing global HR Shared Services function. This role focuses on driving operational excellence shared services delivery quality risk management large scale transitions transformation initiatives and people leadership. The role ensures a consistent efficient and compliant employee experience while supporting enterprise HR strategy across regions. The Manager partners closely with HR Centers of Excellence HR Business Partners HR Technology Compliance and external vendors to deliver scalable and future ready HR operations.
This role reports to the Director HR Shared Services.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead and manage global HR Shared Services operations supporting employee lifecycle processes across multiple geographies
- Oversee case management employee data administration onboarding payroll coordination benefits administration and employment verification processes
- Ensure timely accurate and compliant updates in global HR systems including HRIS and case management platforms
- Maintain high standards of data integrity reporting accuracy and system governance
- Provide hands on leadership in resolving complex employee data issues and service escalations
Shared Services Transitions and Transformation
- Lead the transition and migration of new processes into HR Shared Services including knowledge transfer documentation training and stabilization
- Drive process standardization simplification and re engineering to improve efficiency scalability and employee experience
- Partner with stakeholders to align shared services delivery with enterprise HR strategy
- Support mergers acquisitions and organizational changes from an HR operations perspective
- Champion digital enablement automation and continuous improvement initiatives
Quality Management and Continuous Improvement
- Establish and maintain service quality standards SLAs and KPIs across HR operations
- Design and lead internal quality assurance programs measuring accuracy turnaround time customer satisfaction and compliance
- Conduct regular audits root cause analysis and corrective action plans
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement using data metrics and feedback loops
HR Risk Management and Governance
- Identify assess and mitigate HR operational risks including compliance data privacy and regulatory risks
- Maintain risk registers controls and documentation aligned to global and local requirements
- Partner with audit legal compliance and risk teams to ensure adherence to policies and regulations
- Ensure governance frameworks are embedded across shared services operations
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Build strong partnerships with HR Business Partners HR Technology Payroll Benefits Compliance and external vendors
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR leadership on shared services performance risks and opportunities
- Prepare dashboards reports and executive level insights to communicate value and performance
- Influence stakeholders through clear data driven communication and structured governance forums
People Leadership and Development
- Lead develop and mentor a diverse high performing HR operations team
- Set clear goals provide regular coaching feedback and performance management
- Create development plans to support career growth capability building and succession planning
- Foster an inclusive collaborative and customer focused team culture
Training Documentation and Knowledge Management
- Ensure all HR operational processes are clearly documented and maintained
- Oversee ongoing training for team members and stakeholders on processes systems and controls
- Act as a subject matter expert on HR operations and shared services delivery

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ yrs Bachelor degree with eight or more years of experience in HR Operations HR Shared Services or related fields
- Strong experience with enterprise HRIS platforms such as Workday and case management tools such as ServiceNow
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a global HR Shared Services model
- Proven experience leading transitions process migrations and operational transformations
- Strong background in quality management risk governance and compliance
- Experience with metrics driven performance management and executive reporting
- Exposure to digital automation tools including RPA analytics or AI enabled solutions
- Project management and continuous improvement experience preferred
- Strong communication stakeholder management and leadership skills
