Visa's Growth Products Team is responsible for developing and executing strategies for new payment technologies like crypto, wallets and AI, creating strategies that define Visa's participation in the ecosystem, and developing, launching and scaling the capabilities required to capture those opportunities. This team is focused on identifying and pursuing opportunities to deliver value propositions that integrate growth products into Visa’s core products and solutions positioning Visa as a leader in the cryptocurrency and AI space.

Visa Pay is part of Visa’s Growth Products, designed to create seamless, intelligent, and secure checkout journeys across digital channels. APAC is one of the most diverse and high‑growth regions for digital payments, making Visa Pay central to Visa’s consumer product strategy across markets.

We are looking for a Director, Visa Pay Products (APAC) to lead product delivery, product management and cross‑functional orchestration across regional markets. This leader will shape and scale Visa Pay capabilities, partnering deeply with engineering, UX, markets, clients, and external ecosystem partners.
This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, drives clarity at speed, and brings an execution-first mindset. Someone who can operate across diverse regulatory landscapes, client maturity levels, and technology readiness across APAC. The role will also present opportunities to work in other Growth Products areas over time.

Key Responsibilities

Visa Pay Product Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end product roadmap for APAC, spanning user experience, platform capabilities, wallet and issuer integration, and post‑launch enhancements.
  • Convert ambiguous or loosely defined concepts into clear product requirements and technical workstreams.
  • Ensure alignment with global Visa Pay direction while advocating for APAC needs and prioritization.

Product Delivery & Execution

  • Lead cross‑functional product delivery across technology, engineering, UX, design, and external service providers if required.
  • Drive disciplined execution, unblock technical dependencies, and ensure delivery of velocity.
  • Own readiness for pilot launches and scaled rollout ensuring test plans, partner & client onboarding, operational processes, and support models are in place.
  • Navigate multi-market complexity with resilience and pragmatism, adjusting course quickly as insights emerge.

Cross‑Functional Stakeholder & Ecosystem Management

  • Build strong regional relationships with key stakeholders such as Engineering, Client Implementation, Market Product team and Partnership team.
  • Communicate product decisions, trade‑offs, and timelines clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders across functions.
  • Bring direction and clarity where none exists, proactively structure workstreams, and establish decision frameworks.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.


Qualifications
10+ years of experience in product delivery and/or product management roles within payments, fintech, wallets, or digital commerce.
Hands-on experience building or delivering SDKs/APIs for payments or developer facing platforms.
Demonstrated success launching or scaling products across multiple APAC markets.
Strong experience working with cross‑functional engineering, UX, and business teams.
Experience with payment and checkout UX, authentication flows, tokenization, or wallet experiences.
Ability to simplify complexity and drive structured decision-making in ambiguous environments.
Strong executive communication skills and comfort influencing senior leaders and regional stakeholders.
Experience building scalable market rollout frameworks.
Advanced communication skills and presentation skills (including developing compelling slide decks for internal and external engagements)
Experience working in matrixed organisations and ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and influence across all levels of an organization
