Senior Integration Developer (SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and Boomi)

We are seeking a versatile and proactive Integration Developer to join our high-performing IT team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our strategic integration landscape, which primarily utilizes SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and Boomi.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in API-led connectivity. Whether your primary experience is in SAP or Boomi, you should be comfortable designing, securing, and managing APIs that drive business value. • Design & Development: Architect and build robust integration flows (iFlows) and processes using SAP CPI and/or Boomi to connect on-premise and cloud-based applications.
• End-to-End Implementation: Manage the full lifecycle of integration scenarios, including data mapping, complex transformations, routing, and sophisticated error handling.
• API Design & Development: Design and implement RESTful and SOAP-based APIs using SAP API Management or Boomi API Management.
• API Security & Governance: Implement industry-standard security policies (OAuth 2.0, SAML, API Keys, JWT) and traffic management (Rate Limiting, Throttling).
• Cross-Platform Support: Maintain and optimize existing integrations across both SAP and Boomi environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaboration: Partner with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Continuous Learning: Actively engage in cross-training between SAP CPI and Boomi. Stay ahead of industry trends and stay updated on the latest API trends (e.g., Event-Driven Architecture, GraphQL).
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough unit testing and support end-to-end testing to ensure solutions meet rigorous project requirements.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical design documents, API catalogs, and developer portal documentation and implementation guides.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate technical debt and integration risks.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Core Experience: Proven experience as an Integration Developer with deep expertise of minimum 4-5 years in IT in at least one major iPaaS platform:
o SAP CPI (Cloud Integration/Integration Suite)
o Boomi (Atmosphere Platform)
• API Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in API Lifecycle Management, including design, deployment, versioning, and retirement of APIs.
• Technical Versatility: A strong desire and ability to learn the other integration platforms
• Scripting: Proficiency in Groovy or JavaScript for custom scripting within integration flows.
• Standards & Protocols: Deep understanding of REST, SOAP, OData, JSON, XML, and EDI. Experience with Open API/Swagger specifications.
• Cloud Awareness: Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS) or SAP BTP is a significant advantage.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
