Senior Sales Executive
As a Senior Client Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and fostering strong, long-term relationships with our key legal professional clients. You will leverage your expertise to understand client needs, present compelling solutions, and ensure the successful adoption and renewal of Thomson Reuters products and services across Westlaw, Practical Law, CoCounsel and HighQ.
About The Role
- Sales & Business Development - Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage complex sales cycles, and consistently achieve and exceed sales targets. This includes expert deal closing and upselling our comprehensive product proposition.
- Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with senior-level client contacts, understanding their business processes and strategic objectives to deliver exceptional value.
- Strategic Account Planning - Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize client engagement, identify renewal opportunities, and drive expansion across Thomson Reuters' offerings.
- Product Expertise & Presentation - Articulate the value of Thomson Reuters' legal, tax, and accounting solutions through professional presentations and demonstrations, effectively showcasing their benefits and impact.
- Sales Process Optimization - Navigate and optimize the sales process efficiently, utilizing sales technology and Web Based Technology to track progress, manage pipelines, and forecast accurately.
- Collaboration & Teamwork - Work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure a seamless client experience and deliver integrated solutions.
- Market Intelligence - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client challenges to effectively position Thomson Reuters' solutions and contribute to marketing strategies.
About You
- Experience - Proven track record of success in B2B sales, account management, or client executive roles within the professional services sector (legal, tax, or accounting preferred).
- Sales Acumen - Demonstrated expertise in sales, deal closing, upselling, and managing complex sales processes.
- Communication & Presentation Skills - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver professional presentations and articulate value propositions clearly and concisely.
- Relationship Building - Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport, trust, and long-term relationships with senior-level clients.
- Business Acumen - Deep understanding of professional business processes and the ability to identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive value.
- Technical Proficiency - Familiarity with sales technology and Web Based Technology platforms for client management and sales operations.
- Strategic Thinking - Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans, identify renewal opportunities, and drive growth.
- Teamwork - Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment to achieve shared goals
