Work you'll do

Work at the intersection of marketing, digital and customer experience to support clients in transforming their marketing organizations. Specifically:
  • Define marketing strategies, value propositions and strategic imperatives for growth that drive measurable financial outcomes (e.g., top-line growth, reduced costs, improved margin and ROI).
  • Decipher and transform marketing analytics and customer insights into new customer experiences, business strategies and competitive advantage.
  • Transform marketing operating models and processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and agility.
  • Bring together strategic, creative and technical skills to strategize and drive adoption of innovation, digital, and AI capabilities to help transform their businesses for the better.
  • Help build next-generation marketing teams and capabilities at Fortune 500 brands that seek to modernize their marketing operations, talent mix, and approach to a human + agentic workforce.
  • Define technology and data needs to deliver on marketing and customer experience objectives, partnering with technologists to build modern marketing stacks.
  • Deliver innovative strategies that build compelling user experiences that lead to successful launches of large, complex front-office initiatives.
  • Partner with clients to deliver high-impact customer experiences, and improving creative collaboration to deliver business value.

The team

Deloitte's Customer Strategy and Design practice is the strategic and experiential hub of Deloitte Digital. We excel in customer experience, marketing strategy, commercial transformation, and innovation/design, offering insights to navigate disruption and shape client agendas. Our team includes business strategists, operations experts, designers, and technologists focused on customer-centered solutions. We specialize in customer segmentation, go-to-market strategy, channel optimization, service design, UX design, and customer analytics. Qualifications

Required:
  • 10+ years of experience in the marketing function - focused on marketing strategy, operations, and transformation.
  • 6+ years working with marketing operating models, organization design, and operations design / improvement (process optimization, ways of working, agentic workforces)
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing strategy - helping organizations develop insight-driven strategies and structuring strategic choices to build or improve annual plans and campaign strategies
  • 5+ years of experience working with large B2B and B2C brands across Retail, Consumer Products, Auto, and/or Travel & Hospitality
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:
  • Experience helping marketing organizations optimize their planning and budgeting process prioritize their people and budget allocations to drive greatest financial returns
  • Expertise building marketing business cases for transformational change and operational / technical investment - understanding the cost and revenue drivers that drive the business
  • Understanding of the martech/adtech landscape and implications of AI to marketing organizations
  • Understanding of marketing measurement and ROI
  • Business development and sales experience in Consulting or similar business environment - cultivating opportunities, building proposals, and shaping commercial deals
  • Experience leading team-based work and project delivery resulting in successful outcomes that are on-time and on-budget
  • Experience working with senior marketing leaders (CMOs and direct reports) to shape strategy and vision
  • Knowledge and experience of the above qualifications in both B2C and B2B environments
  • Experience with B2B Marketing, including: operating models, collaboration with the Sales function, B2B channel expertise, and product and partner marketing
  • Strong executive presence and relationship building
  • Strong executive communication and ability to craft compelling narratives

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $175,300 to $322,900.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
