Position Overview
Join the Reality Capture Product Line Group in Krakow and help ensure the quality and reliability of technologies that bridge the physical and digital worlds.
Our products transform real-world data — including 3D laser scans, drone imagery, and photogrammetry — into intelligent digital models used across architecture, engineering, construction, and infrastructure. We develop solutions for point cloud processing, mesh generation, feature extraction, and integration with Autodesk platforms such as Revit, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
As a Software QA Engineer, you will take ownership of quality for significant features and workflows across desktop, web, and cloud platforms. You will design and execute test strategies, contribute to automation efforts, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure high standards of reliability, usability, and performance.
This is a hands-on role with strong impact at the team and feature level.
The team will work in a hybrid working model from our office in Krakow, Poland.
Key Responsibilities
Feature-Level Quality Ownership
- Own test planning and execution for major features and workflows.
- Design clear, comprehensive test cases aligned with product requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance and system-level testing.
- Conduct exploratory and scenario-based testing focused on real-world workflows.
- Validate usability, workflow consistency, and overall user experience.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain automated test cases where appropriate.
- Contribute to improving test automation coverage and reliability.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify repetitive manual testing areas and drive automation initiatives.
- Monitor and report test results, coverage, and quality metrics.
Collaboration & Advocacy
- Partner with developers, product managers, and UX designers throughout the feature lifecycle.
- Clearly document defects with reproducible steps and user-impact context.
- Provide early feedback during feature design and refinement.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Advocate for quality and user experience within the team.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6+ years of experience in software QA or test engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience testing complex desktop and/or web applications.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
- Experience with a UI test automations tools (like QT Squish or similar).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with Git and tools such as Jira.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BIM, CAD, or other professional desktop software.
- Familiarity with Autodesk tools such as ReCap Pro, Revit, or Civil 3D.
- Experience testing applications handling large datasets (e.g., point clouds, meshes).
- Exposure to performance or system-level testing.
- Basic understanding of geometry, coordinate systems, or spatial data concepts.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
