About the Team:

To manage all aspects of travel for Medidata, provide a sustainable travel policy and ensure employee travel is safe and organized according to company policy. You will need to have a good understanding and successfully achieve our Global T&E ambitious objectives in line with 3DS business strategies. Main objectives: Simplify Traveler user experience, reinforce T&E travel policies adoption, and apply a lean approach to simplify process and operations.

Responsibilities:

· Agency Management: Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for our corporate travel agency. Escalate and resolve service issues and facilitate communication between agency teams and internal travelers.

· Stakeholder Communication: Manage internal travel-related communications. This includes sharing policy updates, providing guidance on booking tools, and responding to employee and leadership inquiries.

· Data & Reporting: Partner with the travel agency to build and distribute regular reports on key travel metrics. This includes reports on booking volume, spend by department, policy compliance, and other travel activity.

· Visibility & Insights: Identify and flag trends in travel data to internal stakeholders. Highlight opportunities for cost savings and provide insights that help improve our travel program.

· Program Support: Assist with the administration of our travel program. This includes managing traveler profiles and ensuring all bookings align with company policy.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in a travel-related role, preferably within a corporate environment.

· Strong understanding of corporate travel agency operations and online booking tools.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

· Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and a talent for data analysis.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City / New Jersey. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on several factors including function, level, candidate expertise, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than NY/NJ, may differ based on the local market data in that region.

 

The base salary pay range for this position is $96,000.00 to $110,000.00

 

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
