Skills and Competencies
- Experience in account management, commercial renewals, customer retention, or related client facing roles
- Ability to manage multiple renewals and retention activities across small to mid size accounts
- Strong communication and relationship building skills to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
- Analytical and detail oriented approach in forecasting, pipeline management, and contract execution
- Understanding of subscription based business models; experience with Data or Know Your Customer related products preferred
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross functional teams
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in business, finance, economics, or a related field
Responsibilities
Supports renewal execution and customer retention for a portfolio of subscription clients
- Manage renewal and retention activities for a portfolio of small to mid size accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue retention
- Execute end to end renewal processes for subscription based products, including Data and Know Your Customer related renewals, in alignment with internal commercial policies
- Engage proactively with customers to manage renewal timelines, pricing discussions, documentation requirements, and retention conversations
- Partner with sales managers and internal teams such as operations, compliance, and customer service to support effective account coverage and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate renewal forecasts, pipeline visibility, and customer records using customer relationship management tools
- Participate in customer business reviews and regular touchpoints to strengthen relationships and identify retention risks or growth opportunities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries related to renewals, product usage, and customer requirements
- Ensure all renewal and retention activities comply with company policies, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines
