Design Strategy Senior Manager

As a Senior Manager, you will be an inspirational leader for multiple project teams and build deep, ongoing relationships with clients to elevate their ambition and impact. We excel in customer experience, marketing strategy, commercial transformation, and innovation/design, offering insights to navigate disruption and shape client agendas. Our team includes business strategists, operations experts, designers, and technologists focused on customer-centered solutions. We specialize in customer segmentation, go-to-market strategy, channel optimization, service design, UX design, and customer analytics. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $175,300 to $322,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

Work you'll do
As a Senior Manager, you will be an inspirational leader for multiple project teams and build deep, ongoing relationships with clients to elevate their ambition and impact. You will also act as a voice and thought leader for innovation and design strategy within Deloitte - and work across offerings to develop and execute new go-to-market approaches. You will:
- Own the client and team experience for 2-3 projects at a time, providing directional oversight for the work and taking accountability for delivery to our highest standards and client expectations
- Develop strategic relationships with client executives up to the C-suite and bring a seasoned outside perspective on new growth and innovation opportunities
- Uncover and frame new opportunities centered around AI, thenoversee perspectives, proposals and pitches that lead to compelling opportunities for our teams and groundbreaking impact for our clients
- Develop links with otherofferings across the Deloitte network to bolster our offerings with new, integrated capabilities that amplify the impact of human-centered innovation
- Be known as a thought leaderaround human-centeredinnovation and its intersections with technology, media and entertainment. Understanding of AI-enabled experiences and products is required
- Champion and advocate for the role of design, and cultivate a healthy and thriving design practice and culture in our community
- Serve as a mentorandcareer/performancecoach for our people at multiple levels and take ownership for advancing our unique Doblin practice
- Work with other leaders to develop market-shaping eminence, and conceive and lead initiatives todevelop new offerings and go-to-market opportunities

Qualifications
Required:
- 9+ years of experience at a design strategy consultancy or other professional services environment in an innovation/design/digital role
- Demonstrated experience (4+ years) as a client-facing advisor, specifically in a program leadership or account director capacity
- 4-6+ years of experience incubating and launching products and experiences in Technology and Media
- Demonstrated experience (2+ years) delivering AI-enabled user interactions and experiences
- Willingness to be based in New York
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
