We are looking for a Relationship Associate to join our Citi Handlowy team in Industrials Department, Citi Commercial Banking Division within the Financial Markets and Corporate Banking Sector. Main responsibilities include supporting Relationship Managers in managing the portfolio of existing customer relationships.
Your Responsibilities:
- Building Relationships: You will become a key point of contact for our clients and operational teams, building lasting relationships and effectively managing issue escalations.
- Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: In cooperation with Relationship Managers (RMs) and product partners, you will ensure the timely fulfillment of regulatory requirements, including the Know Your Client (KYC) process.
- Support for Global Clients: You will assist clients in accessing Citi's global network, providing them with product support and local service worldwide.
- Onboarding New Clients: You will actively participate in the onboarding process for new clients and their branches, from KYC verification to initial credit arrangements.
- Coordinating Credit Processes: You will coordinate credit applications and their approval processes within Citi's global network.
- Identifying Business Opportunities: In collaboration with product partners, you will identify new revenue opportunities and position selected products in the client offering.
- Partnership with the Credit Administration Team: You will monitor the utilization of credit lines and ensure that credit documentation (FX, derivatives, loans, letters of credit) is up to date.
- Risk Management: You will be responsible for assessing risk when making business decisions, safeguarding the company's reputation and Citigroup's assets, in accordance with applicable laws, rules, and policies
Our Requirements:
- Experience: min. 2 years of experience within commercial/corporate banking
- Education: Higher education (Bachelor's/Master's degree) or equivalent professional experience
- Analytical Skills: The ability to think analytically and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies
- Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of information
- Communication Skills: Developed communication and diplomatic skills, essential for exchanging complex and confidential information. Must be fluent in Polish and English
