As a Sales Development Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting real sales initiatives while learning directly from experienced sales professionals across Visa’s Digital and Enterprise Sales teams. Throughout the summer, you’ll build foundational sales skills, deepen your understanding of Visa’s products and clients, and contribute to meaningful work that drives pipeline growth and customer engagement. You’ll receive structured support, training, mentorship, and feedback to help you grow professionally and make an impact.
In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll participate in learning sessions, networking events, and exposure opportunities that provide insight into Visa’s sales
organization and how we operate at global scale. At the end of the internship, you’ll have the opportunity to present your work and learnings to sales leaders.
Summer Interns are considered for full-time opportunities based on their internship performance with highly successful interns receiving full-time offers to join Visa’s two-year Sales Development Program (SDP). The SDP is a structured rotational program designed to build world-class sales capabilities through formal training, hands-on experience, and long-term career pathways across Sales, Product, and Account Management.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree graduating in December 2026 – August 2027
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; adept at presenting ideas clearly and collaborating in teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Sales, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, International Business, Management, Data Analytics, Economics, Information System
- Excellent analytical abilities and proficiency in data analysis tools and software (For example: Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.)
- Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment.
- Familiarity, experience, and interest in GenAI
- The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on
- Strong ability to collaborate
- Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented
- Good team player and excellent interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Additional Information
U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated hourly rate for a new hire into this position is $26.00/hr USD to $30.00/hr. USD. The hourly rate may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
