As Director of Small Business Product & GTM for North America, you will join Visa Commercial Solutions' North America Product team — a group at the forefront of delivering payment and value-added solutions to financial institution and FinTech clients across the U.S. and Canada.
Small businesses are the backbone of the North American economy and a critical force in the payments ecosystem. In this role, you will own and drive Visa's SMB product strategy across North America — shaping how millions of small businesses access, use, and benefit from Visa's products. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a builder and commercial leader who is passionate about turning strategy into actionable growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the product strategy and go-to-market execution of Visa’s SMB products in the US and Canada markets.
Understand the needs of North America small businesses and ensure the product roadmap is aligned – develop KPIs, North Star vision, and review competitive dynamics of the SMB card market.
Drive product innovation and digital transformation, developing and prioritizing product functionality / features to enhance the value proposition of Visa’s SMB products.
Serve as subject matter expert and product lead for Visa’s SMB products in the US and Canada with sales and clients.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
• Proven experience in launching new solutions and solving business problems for client entities
• Experienced with online and digital products that support Commercial Cards, ACH, Real-Time Payments, Cross-Border Payments and/or other emerging payments rails
• Proven experience in all aspects of product management and the ability to lead strategic to tactical discussions as well as bridge business and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Deep understanding of payment systems (card networks, ACH, RTP, digital wallets)
• Experience with payment network, banks, payment processors or financial technology software providers is a plus
• Effective communication skills, storytelling, strong presentation skills, executive presence, and ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences and C-suite individuals in an engaging way
• Detail oriented and highly execution focused by working in conjunction with various counterparts across multiple functional groups
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work internally across business, technology, and delivery teams, and externally with clients and other stakeholders
• Ability to quickly learn about the internal Visa solutions, processes, culture, leadership principles and how it all works together and embrace changes in an ecosystem that is rapidly evolving
• Ability to manage, and coordinate across complex cross-functional teams including technical and non-technical resources
• Strong results-oriented contributor, analytic and fact-based consultative discipline demonstrating a growth mindset
• Adds value to customers by insightful and thoughtful questioning, offering new ideas, and delivering solutions
• Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 173,100 to 276,800 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
