- 10+ years of experience as an SDET with strong focus on test automation, data testing, and validation
- Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) for UI and backend automation, including Playwright MCP, self-healing locator strategies, and advanced framework design
- Proficient in SQL with ability to write and debug complex queries for database testing, data validation, and multi‑system reconciliation
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright, TestNG, and Pytest across JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, and Python
- Experience using AI‑assisted testing tools (e.g., Playwright MCP, GitHub Copilot Agent Mode)
- Expertise with GitHub branching strategies, workflow management, pull‑request reviews, and CI/CD integration
- Strong experience in API testing using Postman and REST API automation frameworks
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric dataflows, lakehouses, and semantic models
- Deep understanding of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling
- Hands-on experience with AI platforms (e.g., Copilot Studio) and building AI agents, with openness to applying AI‑driven testing strategies including automated test generation and anomaly detection
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when working with large datasets
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and communicate findings effectively
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask effectively
- Experience with JIRA (preferably JIRA Xray) and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS or similar)
- Experience with Excel‑based data analysis and reporting
- Finance domain experience
- Knowledge of JMeter for performance testing of data‑heavy systems (Preferred)
- Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools to enhance testing workflows, including hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted solutions and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
- Experience leveraging advanced AI capabilities to support automation, innovation, and quality improvements, including building AI‑supported solutions and driving organizational best practices
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Perform comprehensive software testing including automation development, test data creation, and modern test methodology execution
- Build, test, and maintain robust automation frameworks and scripts using Python for data validation and functional testing
- Design, build, and maintain JavaScript‑based Playwright frameworks and Java TestNG automation solutions while promoting code quality and best practices
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), enabling shift‑left testing, parallelization, and enhanced reporting
- Conduct end‑to‑end data validation including source‑to‑target mapping, transformation logic validation, and business rule verification
- Validate curated tables and data models within Microsoft Fabric using advanced SQL to ensure quality, completeness, and data integrity
- Develop and implement test automation solutions that reduce manual testing overhead and improve accuracy
- Identify and communicate data anomalies, discrepancies, or quality issues across systems
- Leverage AI tools for LLM‑driven test case generation, automated data creation, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and self‑healing locators
- Track, analyze, and communicate quality metrics such as coverage, defect escape rate, and test flakiness while driving continuous improvement
- Adapt to evolving testing requirements based on business priorities and contribute innovative ideas for process optimization
- Maintain clear communication with the reporting manager through timely updates and actionable insights
