Skills and Competencies
- 5+ years of industry experience designing and delivering enterprise integration solutions, with at least 3 years of hands‑on MuleSoft development; experience with SAP Integration Suite / Business Technology Platform is preferred
- Expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API‑led connectivity, RESTful API design, development, deployment, and troubleshooting in complex enterprise environments
- Strong programming skills in Java, DataWeave, Java scripting, and object‑oriented design, with the ability to build scalable, secure, and high‑performance integrations
- Proven ability to integrate large enterprise platforms (such as SAP, Salesforce, and SuccessFactors) using connectors, APIs, event‑driven patterns, and microservices architectures
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure preferred), DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines using tools such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex integration concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, including generative and agentic AI, with AI‑related certifications or formal training considered a strong plus
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
- MuleSoft Developer Certification (MCD Level 1 or higher); SAP BTP certification is a plus
Responsibilities
Design and deliver secure, scalable enterprise integrations and APIs that enable reliable data flows across Moody’s core business platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft and SAP BTP integrations and application programming interfaces supporting business‑critical systems and data flows
- Partner with solution architects, business analysts, and application teams to translate business requirements into scalable, resilient integration solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance
- Build and maintain integration infrastructure using best practices for security, scalability, monitoring, and governance
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration standards, reusable patterns, and technical documentation across the organization
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge‑sharing activities to promote integration best practices and engineering excellence
- Stay current with MuleSoft, SAP BTP, and industry trends in integration, API management, and cloud technologies
- Promote responsible integration practices, including proper data handling, risk management, and compliance with security and regulatory standards
- Apply artificial intelligence tools and concepts to improve workflows and operational efficiency, demonstrating awareness of AI risk management and responsible AI use
About the Team
The Corporate Systems team, part of the Technology Services Group, supports Moody’s core business and technology operations by enabling reliable execution, strong coordination, and effective governance across corporate platforms and shared services. The team partners closely with senior leaders, product teams, and key stakeholders across the enterprise to drive operational excellence while advancing innovation, including the adoption of AI‑driven capabilities. By bringing structure, clarity, and rigor to complex environments, Corporate Systems plays a critical role in ensuring Moody’s technology platforms are resilient, forward‑looking, and positioned for continued growth.
Annual base salary gross: €44,200.00 to €70,800.00. Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
