We are seeking a highly skilled and Senior Lead Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Varicent (or similar Incentive Compensation Management software) and a proven ability to configure, customize, and support its production environment to meet business needs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen to ensure seamless system performance and deliver value to stakeholders.
About the role:
- Varicent Configuration:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of solutions within Varicent to support business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Optimize Varicent workflows, rules, calculations, and reporting to ensure efficient and accurate incentive compensation processes.
- Production Support:
- Provide ongoing support for Varicent production environments, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including data discrepancies, configuration errors, and user challenges.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analysis and Collaboration:
- Partner with business teams (e.g., Sales, Finance, HR) to understand incentive compensation goals and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct impact analysis for system changes and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Support testing efforts, including unit testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Documentation and Training:
- Develop and maintain clear documentation for system configurations, workflows, and processes.
- Provide training and guidance to users on Varicent functionality and best practices.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Varicent or similar Incentive Compensation Management platforms.
- Proven experience in system configuration, implementation, and production support.
- Strong understanding of incentive compensation processes and related business functions (e.g., sales operations, financial reporting).
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Varicent certification (Good to have)
