Skills and Competencies
- Entry-level profile; prior meaningful work experience or internships preferred
- Intermediate level of English
- Excellent attention to detail and strong focus on data accuracy. Highly organized, efficient, and able to manage recurring workflows
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills; able to collaborate across operational and analytical teams
- Ability to prioritize and deliver against deadlines, including time sensitive operational requests
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency is desired
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is a plus
Responsibilities
The Financial Data Associate (FDA) will support Moody’s Local Latin America Operations by collecting, processing, and validating data used across analytical and commercial processes to ensure information accuracy, timeliness, and integrity.
- Perform new deal/customer set up, data capture, lifecycle data maintenance, and data quality assurance tasks to support rating analysts and commercial teams
- Execute the document upload process to the website, including performing manual uploads, resolving process related issues, and contributing to discussions on future operational improvements
- Monitor designated documents such as Vital Records to ensure timely and effective reviews
- Contribute to continuous improvements in data workflows, templates, and automation tools

Moody’s Local operates across 14 countries as a leading provider of domestic credit ratings. The Latin America Operations team collaborates closely with analysts, commercial partners, and regional colleagues to ensure high quality data and efficient processes that support credit analysis and market transparency.
