We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at Reuters News & Media Ltd. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable infrastructure solutions across AWS and Azure, ensuring the continuous delivery and operational excellence of our critical news and media platforms.

About the Role:

* Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps and Azure DevOps for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
* Manage and administer cloud infrastructure in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.) and Microsoft Azure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
* Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
* Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimization and scalability.
* Manage and administer MySQL databases, including performance tuning, backup, recovery, and replication.
* Develop automation scripts using Python and Microsoft PowerShell to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
* Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and effective problem resolution.
* Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for critical systems.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure management.

About You:

* Proven 7+ years' experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
* Strong expertise in AWS Administration and AWS DevOps services.
* Solid understanding and practical experience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Azure Administration.
* In-depth knowledge of DevOps principles, methodologies, and tools.
* Experience with DevOps Architecture, including microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
* Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python and Microsoft PowerShell.
* Extensive experience with MySQL, including MySQL Database Administration and MySQL Management.
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
