We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Digital Transformation Senior Python Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems analysis and software programming in Python, with a passion for driving digital transformation in a regulated environment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal clients to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance workflow‑based automation solutions using Python
Implement production changes based on detailed business requirements
Apply and advocate for coding best practices, driving continuous improvements
Build a solid understanding of deployment lifecycle, infrastructure concepts, and CI/CD processes
Provide support to resolve workflow execution issues requiring development expertise
Collaborate closely with business and technology partners to deliver reliable, high‑quality solutions
Stay open to learning and adopting new technologies specific to the Regulatory Reporting space
Required Skills:
4-6 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software programming
Solid development background in Python
Understanding Linux concepts and shell scripting
Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines or unexpected changes
Strong documentation and technical writing skills
Ability to work independently while following specifications and maintaining documentation discipline
Team‑player mindset with flexibility to support teammates or take on non‑development tasks when needed
Optional Skills:
Hands‑on experience with KNIME or other workflow‑automation / low‑code platforms
Experience working in a regulated or controlled environment
Familiarity with Financial Reporting processes
Confident in working with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow
Knowledge of data processing, ETL patterns, or analytics pipelines
Literacy in AI development tools or frameworks (e.g., small personal AI projects, experimenting with LLMs, using local or cloud‑based AI tooling). We value curiosity and a willingness to learn more than deep expertise.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
