Thomson Reuters Foundation is looking for a skilled and motivated Graphic Designer to join our External Engagement Team. This role requires strong craft, strategic thinking and the ability to collaborate across the organization, including legal, thought leadership, marketing, social communications, and product development as well as play a meaningful role in shaping how the Foundation presents itself to the world.
About the Role
You'll be a core part of a team delivering comprehensive brand and design services, including:
Design & Production:
Designing print and digital materials across advertising, marketing campaigns, reports, publications, event collateral, and venue creatives
Developing logos, visual identities, illustrations, maps, charts, infographics, and data visualisations
Creating and maintaining social media templates and assets across multiple channels
Tools & Platform Ownership:
Taking ownership of the Canva platforms, setting standards and empowering non-design colleagues to work within the brand
Overseeing and managing Adobe Creative Suite licences across the organisation
Managing design requests through the internal Jira ticketing system, prioritising and working through a dedicated queue independently
Accessibility & Compliance:
Oversight and management of design-related accessibility standards
Ensuring inclusive design and compliance across all products and communications
Collaboration & Brand Stewardship:
Working with global contractor teams
Supporting cross-functional teams in project delivery
Contributing to the development and maintenance of brand document templates
Supporting the oversight of Thomson Reuters Foundation’s brand and sub brand’s portfolio, brand usage, and policy compliance
Support in production of brand guidelines and document brand templates
About You
To be successful in the role of Graphic Designer you will:
Be educated to degree level (or equivalent) or have the equivalent experience with a portfolio of work
Strong, confident knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects
Hands-on experience with Canva, including building and managing templates for wider team use
Have excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple briefs simultaneously, prioritise a busy workload and deliver deadline on time
Have clear and confident communication skills and the ability to present and defend creative decisions
Be able to understand what works and appeals for different target audiences, and interpret briefs and objectives from multiple sources to drive creative solutions
Have experience of designing for both print and online including social
Have a passion for design and a desire to learn and grow
